How to Play Evolution: Survival

The Goal: Collect DNA. Trigger evolutions. Conquer bosses. Your mission? Survive as many transformations as possible while the world shifts from ocean to land, and enemies scale from tiny prey to elite predators.

Core Loop: Eat, Evolve, Mutate

Steer with mouse or WASD. Consume food particles and weaker creatures. Fill the DNA bar. When it maxes out, choose your mutation: Speed, Attack, Defense, Poison, Regeneration, or Intelligence. Each pick changes your form. Stack mutations smart. Unlock secret evolutions like Dragon, Leviathan, Phantom, and Hive Mind.

Progression: Stars, Upgrades, Runs

Find rare golden stars scattered across maps. Critical: These grant permanent upgrade currency. Between runs, invest stars into stat boosts that carry over. Die? Keep the upgrades. Next run starts stronger. World transforms with each evolution: open ocean → deep sea → shallow waters → dry land. Enemies level up. Elite variants spawn. Bosses block progression.

Combat Strategy: Abilities and Drops

Don't rush elites early. Build mutations first. Use active abilities: Dash (Spacebar), Acid Spit, Death Cloud, Traps, Cover. Buttons show at screen bottom (or press 1–5). Enemy drops matter: grab Healing, Magnet, Shield, Explosion pickups. Combine mutations for synergy. Poison + Speed = hit-and-run killer. Defense + Regeneration = tank build.
